Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Security Officer for the night shift at Hoboken location. This full-time role covers 11pm–7:30am with weekend rotation. You will safeguard people and property and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities include controlling access, patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and reporting hazards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, NJ driver's license, SORA preferred, and prior security experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SORA license preferred.
• Valid NJ driver’s license required.
• Relevant work experience as Security required. Hospital setting experience preferred.

• Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices.
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes.
• Performs unit/building clock tours daily.
• Conducts security rounds for safety violations.
• Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments.
• Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts.
• Investigates all (police type) incident reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes
