Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a full-time Security Officer for night shift (11pm–7:30am) to protect people and property and ensure safety around the clock.

Responsibilities include monitoring cameras, directing visitors, performing security rounds, and responding to incidents. Candidates need a High School Diploma, NJ driver’s license, and preferably a SORA license and prior security/hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SORA license preferred.
• Valid NJ driver’s license required.
• Relevant work experience in security, hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports all doors left open after hours or unattended offices.
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes.
• Performs unit/building clock tours daily.
• Conducts security rounds for safety violations.
• Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments.
• Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts.
• Investigates all (police type) incident reports.

Education

Salary Range: $17.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Ensures the protection of persons and property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements. Provides safety and security 24 hours a day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes
• Conducts security rounds for safety violations
• Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments
• Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts
• Investigates all (police type) incident reports

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
