Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of experience in security operations, monitoring, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and SIEM tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms and native security services.
• Ability to design and implement telemetry pipelines and alerting.
• Programming/scripting proficiency in Python, Java, or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance observability solutions to improve platform reliability, security visibility, incident detection, response, and forensic readiness.
• Partner with architects and engineers to define security controls and monitoring requirements across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Integrate logging and telemetry pipelines with SIEM/EDR/AIO tools, ensuring data quality and usability.
• Lead SOC, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, and Engineering teams to establish escalation paths and automated responses.
• Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities with patch management and security hardening.
• Maintain SIEM deployment and upgrades.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and Security as Code to automate security across cloud environments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and weekend support as required.
