Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer III to design, implement, and operate security platforms that support Security Operations.

You will collaborate with Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, and IT teams to ensure visibility, controls, and telemetry across endpoint, cloud, and data security. This full-time role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and experience deploying enterprise security technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Security, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience deploying, administering, or supporting enterprise security technologies and controls.
• Strong understanding of endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and data security domains.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain enterprise security platforms with emphasis on DLP, endpoint security, and SecOps technologies.
• Configure and optimize security controls, integrations, and telemetry to improve platform effectiveness.
• Develop and enhance automation, monitoring, and operational processes for reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, and IT teams to support security operations.
