F5 is seeking a Security Engineer II to design, integrate, operate, and maintain robust monitoring and auditing for its global platform. You will develop solutions to provide visibility, detection, and alerting for security events and forensics.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in CS or related field, 3+ years in security operations, and hands-on experience with SIEMs and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). On-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, monitoring, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on with logging, monitoring, and SIEM/dashboarding tools.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform.
• Familiarity with logs, telemetry pipelines, and alert tuning.
• Knowledge of IaC tools and cloud orchestration.

Responsabilités

• Design, integrate, operate, and maintain monitoring and auditing capabilities across our platform.
• Collaborate with architects, security engineers, and SREs to define what to monitor and audit.
• Tune alerts to balance coverage and reduce noise for security events.
• Integrate logging pipelines with SIEM, dashboards, and downstream systems.
• Leverage AI-assisted security tooling to improve investigations and automation.
• Occasional on-call and weekend shifts may be required.
