Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe/West Monroe is seeking a full-time Security Officer for the night shift from 6:45pm to 7:15am. The role focuses on keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe by patrolling the facility, maintaining order, and responding to alarms and incidents.

The ideal candidate has proven security experience, knowledge of safety regulations, and strong observation and report-writing skills to ensure a secure hospital environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma is required.
• Proven experience as security officer, military personnel, or corrections officers.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe/West Monroe is taking applications for full-time Security Officers to work the 6:45pm to 7:15am - night shift.

We are an 82-bed facility specializing in acute psychiatric disorders and illnesses in adults ages 21 and up. The Freedom Team puts patient care first by driving processes to ensure quality and compliance.

The Security Officer will undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. The security officer will be responsible for maintaining order, assisting staff with aggressive, and/or verbal behavior and maintain compliance with statutory or establishment rules and processes. They are also charged with detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior on company premises.

The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation and professionalism when interacting with staff and patients. The goal of this position is to assist the company in providing a safe and secure environment.
