Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe/West Monroe is seeking a full-time Security Officer for the night shift from 6:45pm to 7:15am. The role focuses on keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe by patrolling the facility, maintaining order, and responding to alarms and incidents.

The ideal candidate has proven security experience, knowledge of safety regulations, and strong observation and report-writing skills to ensure a secure hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Proven experience as security officer, military personnel, or corrections officers.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high visibility presence to promote safety and mitigate risks.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Secure all exits, doors and windows.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation and intervene if necessary.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity including any incidents that may occur.
