Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Security Management Analyst for a fully remote, 12-month contract in the United States. You will track, validate, and report security issues across Linux/Windows, Azure, and Google Cloud environments, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure remediation and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in IT security or infrastructure operations, strong communication skills, and relevant security certifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT security, vulnerability management, or infra operations.
• Experience with Azure and Google Cloud security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review vulnerability findings to confirm accuracy and risk.
• Coordinate remediation with core teams to closure.
• Validate fixes and updates are applied.
• Report remediation status to IT leadership.
• Communicate risk and deadlines to technical teams.
• Track exceptions and risk acceptances with owners.
• Maintain audit evidence and support PCI-DSS.
• Create procedures for remediation tracking and reporting.
• Review changes through the Change Advisory Board.
