Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Security Analyst to join a remote team focused on vulnerability remediation, security patching, and infrastructure hardening. The role covers Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and endpoints with hands-on remediation and collaboration across IT teams.

Day-to-day, you will review findings, set remediation priorities, and implement fixes while building automation in Python and PowerShell. AI tooling adoption is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching.
• Hands-on with Windows and Linux infrastructure hardening.
• Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes security.
• Experience scripting in Python and PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of endpoint security and device management (Intune).

Responsibilities

• Review vulnerabilities and determine remediation priorities.
• Remediate issues across Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and endpoints.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to address critical vulnerabilities.
• Automate repetitive security and remediation activities with scripting.
• Support security initiatives within AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Assist with security tooling adoption (Agentic AI) to improve security operations.
