Job summary

Eight Eleven Group is seeking a Security Management Analyst for a fully remote, 12-month contract in the United States (EST or CT). You will track and report on security issues across Linux, Windows, Azure, and Google Cloud, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure remediation is validated and complete.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in IT security or infrastructure operations, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT security, vulnerability management, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers, networking, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience reviewing vulnerability scans and tracking remediation to closure.
• Ability to build clear status reports for technical teams and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• PCI-DSS or audit support experience is preferred.
• Cloud security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review vulnerability findings to confirm accuracy, risk, and responsible team.
• Coordinate remediation with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Endpoint teams and track to closure.
• Validate fixes and security updates are applied and issue is resolved.
• Report remediation status, open issues, and exceptions to IT leadership and Information Security.
• Communicate risk, priorities, and deadlines clearly to teams and leadership.
• Track exceptions and risk acceptances with owners and review dates.
• Maintain audit evidence and support PCI-DSS compliance.
• Create and maintain procedures for remediation tracking and reporting.
• Review security-related changes through the Change Advisory Board.
