Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in Jackson, MS to lead security initiatives and protect guests and assets. You will supervise hourly associates, implement theft-prevention strategies, and collaborate with store leadership to keep people safe and merchandise secure.

The role involves incident response, staffing, training, and ensuring adherence to policy and procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma and 18+ years old; prior loss prevention experience is helpful but

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• State or local licensure and/or other legal requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain Target service standards.
• Observe, coach and hold team accountable to safety and security guidelines.
• Identify theft and shortage trends and develop actionable countermeasures.
• Lead a team of hourly associates and support store leadership on operational shortage priorities.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in store response planning.
• Maintain training and development within the AP team.
