Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in Jackson, MS to lead a security-forward team and protect guests, team members, and the brand. You will manage crisis response, safety programs, and operational security measures to minimize loss and safeguard store assets.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to train and coach hourly staff, and collaboration with store leadership. A high school diploma and prior loss prevention experience are valued, with flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a security culture, including crisis response and safety.
• Develop and implement security plans for in-store events and emergencies.
• Manage team scheduling and staffing around security priorities.
• Identify theft and shortage trends and develop tactics to reduce loss.
• Educate store leadership on merchandise protection best practices.
