Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in the United States to drive loss prevention strategies and protect guests, team members and assets. You will lead a team, implement security plans, and partner with store leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role involves crisis response, staffing oversight, and educating teams on merchandise protection best practices, with opportunities to advance within a renowned national retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a friendly environment.
• Train, coach and develop team members; manage staffing levels.
• Review area guest, financial and team metrics to identify opportunities.
• Support merchandise protection and reduce losses while driving profitability.
• Lead safety and security processes and participate in emergency responses.
• Collaborate with store leadership and external partners to strengthen security.
