Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader in Alabama to lead security operations, protect assets and support store leadership. You will supervise a team, plan staffing, respond to incidents and ensure safety policies are followed.

Strong communication and accountability are essential, with a focus on guest experience. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, and coordinating with district leaders to reduce shrink and maintain safe store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain Target's service standards.
• Lead and coach team members; schedule shifts and manage staffing.
• Respond to theft incidents and support investigations per policy.
• Collaborate with store leadership on emergencies and safety plans.
• Maintain safety and security processes; ensure compliance with procedures.
• Support onboarding and learning; develop team skills and accountability.
