Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist to protect people, products and data across a designated building and support field security operations. This hourly role reports to the Cluster Manager and collaborates with legal, HR and external vendors.

You will conduct investigations, analyze security data, and help maintain physical security across fulfillment and logistics sites, including 24/7 coverage and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of Amazon experience, or 1+ year in security, loss prevention, or related fields.
• 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Excel in a professional capacity.
• Workplace incident mitigation or business continuity planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance.
• Serve as liaison and SME for site leadership on security issues and performance.
• Develop strategies to reduce alarms and diagnose system issues with vendors/partners.
• Work 24/7 across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
