Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead end-to-end security services across operations. You will drive risk mitigation, investigations, and CRI improvements while partnering with site leadership and external vendors.

The role supports 24/7 operations, requires strong data analytics, and travel up to 50% regionally. You will influence budgets and security strategy across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, investigations, or law enforcement, or Amazon experience.
• Experience with metric-based strategies and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analyses using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that indicate site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department's liaison and security/crisis management SME, keeping leadership informed on issues, strategies, and performance.
