Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Bellevue, NE, is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer for a full-time role. You will identify and apprehend shoplifters, write reports, and interact with local law enforcement, providing courtroom testimony as needed.

The position requires a clean background, ability to stand/walk up to 3-4 hours, reliable transportation, and strong written and spoken English. Prior loss prevention or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.
• Prior Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.
