Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wichita, KS is seeking a hardworking Loss Prevention Officer to help protect people and assets. The role includes patrolling, observing for shoplifting, and coordinating with local law enforcement; reporting findings clearly and concisely.

Qualifications

• Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated.
• Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum).
