Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer in Duluth, MN to deter theft and ensure store safety. You will patrol the premises, monitor CCTV, and engage with customers and staff to prevent losses.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents in writing, coordinating with local law enforcement when needed, and providing courtroom testimony as required. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or securityPatrol and surveillance experience preferred.
• Ability to observe and report accurately in writing.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and CCTV monitoring.
• Prepare clear, accurate loss-prevention reports.
• Interact with local law enforcement as needed.

Job Description

• Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• Report Writing
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• Provide Courtroom Testimony as required

Job Requirement

• Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
