Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP Specialist) to lead End-to-End SLP services across assigned operations. The role reports to the SLP Cluster Manager and involves coordinating security, investigations, and incident response within a multi-site environment.

The position requires data-driven decision making, strong collaboration across levels, and flexibility to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Amazon experience, or 1+ year in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or operations, or Loss Prevention Qualified Career Choice Graduate.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, in a professional capacity.
• Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that indicate security opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and efficiency.
• Serve as security liaison and crisis management SME for site leadership.
• Identify and implement security best practices with internal customers.
