Job summary

V2X, Inc. is hiring a full-time, non-exempt receptionist at Fort Irwin, CA, to support the National Training Center contract. The role includes badge issuance, access control, and multi-line phone handling, with responsibilities across OCC logs and administrative tasks.

The position requires English fluency, a California driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and deployment flexibility (CONUS/OCONUS). It is a 3rd shift role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• High School /GED required.
• Entry-level receptionist role with at least 1 year of experience handling multiple calls.

Responsibilities

• Operate Symmetry Professional system to verify access to buildings/rooms and issue badges.
• Process Unescorted Access Badges and appropriate clearance badges.
• Maintain the Range Operations Log and Flight Operations Log.
• Create and review MAXIMO work orders; coordinate with maintenance/tech staff.
• Perform routine clerical tasks: MS Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations.
• Support receptionist duties: greet visitors, sign-in, direct to appropriate person.
• Screen visitors for proper access and maintain badge controls.
• Handle calls, messages, and record keeping; manage keys, PKI cards, radios, and NVGs.
