Xenotronics Company seeks a Security Systems Technician to install, service, and maintain security, fire, and access control systems for commercial clients in Davenport, Iowa and the Quad Cities area.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electronic aptitude required.
• Problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Background check approval is required for employment.
• Prior work history in low voltage installation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security systems including burglary controls, video surveillance, fire detection, and access control.
• Follow safety protocols (ladder safety, proper equipment handling).
• Perform mechanical tasks including wire pulling and tool operation.
• Operate computer-based systems for layout, installation, and system preparation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with clients and contractors.
• Maintain accurate daily work orders and track company tools and products.
• Maintain state certifications and company vehicle responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members and represent the company professionally.
