Job summary

Alarm Systems in Quincy, IL is seeking a full-time Security Technician to diagnose and repair alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. You will install and service residential and commercial systems, read blueprints, and perform routine preventive maintenance.

The position requires ability to travel up to 50% (on-call weekends) and lift 50+ pounds; starting wage is $21 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in security installation or maintenance is beneficial but not required.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents is preferred.

The starting wage in this ad is reflective of minimum wage - Pay is commiserate with experience and will be discussed during the job offer phase.
