Job summary

Coastal Protection Inc. is seeking a Security Installation & Service Technician to join the team. The role requires travel to various locations to install or repair security systems per customer specifications and site restrictions.

Responsibilities include installing electronic locks, alarms, CCTV, and other devices, troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and keeping precise logs. Team players with hands-on tool experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the security industry field IS REQUIRED.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Ability and experience to use hand tools and industry testers.

• Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs.
• Troubleshoot problems in security systems, and make repairs or replacements.
• Install new security systems, including electronic locks, thermostats, alarms, CCTVs, and more.
• Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock vehicles and supplies as needed.
• Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all time through our software.
• Rotate phone call emergency tech support with other security technicians (averages 1 week every month).

Job Summary

As a Security Installation & Service Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include burglary & fire alarm systems, surveillance cameras, install smart locks, access control, surveillance cameras, speakers, and more.
