Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Security Installation & Service Technician to join our team. You will travel to diverse locations and sites to install or repair security systems per customer specifications and site restrictions.

The role involves handling burglar and fire alarms, surveillance cameras, smart locks, access control, and related devices. The ideal candidate has experience in security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, and excellent

• Experience in security installation or related electronics required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities confirmed by previous work.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various locations to assess customer needs and site constraints.
• Troubleshoot security systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Install security systems including locks, alarms, cameras, and access controls.
• Maintain equipment and restock vehicles; log work in our software at all times.
• Rotate emergency phone support with other technicians roughly one week per month.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Installation & Service Technician to join our team! As a Security Installation & Service Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include burglary & fire alarm systems, surveillance cameras, smart locks, access control, speakers, and more. The ideal candidate has experience with security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and an analytical way of thinking.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs
• Troubleshoot problems in security systems, and make repairs or replacements
• Install new security systems, including electronic locks, thermostats, alarms, CCTVs, and more
• Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock vehicles and supplies as neededMaintain accurate logs of work completed at all times through our software
• Rotate phone call emergency tech support with other security technicians (averages 1 week every month)
