Job summary

Safe Haven Security LLC is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will ensure proper functioning, test all components, and educate customers on system use.

The role involves on-site installations, customer consultations, and documentation, with ongoing training and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain alarm agent permit where applicable.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors and cameras.
• Engage in sales consultations to recommend security solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function.
• Test installed systems and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Educate customers on proper use of their security systems and features.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets and inventory records.
• Stay updated on security technologies and industry standards.
