Job summary

Safe Haven Security is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems. You will ensure proper functioning and provide customers with peace of mind.

You will perform installations, engage in sales consultations, diagnose issues, and educate customers on usage while maintaining accurate paperwork and evolving with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing and troubleshooting residential alarm and automation systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to diagnose issues and apply effective solutions while maintaining security standards.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including panels, sensors and cameras.
• Engage in sales consultations to understand customer needs and propose solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Test installed systems to ensure proper operation and adjust as needed.
• Educate customers on system operation and safety measures.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets and inventory records.
• Stay updated on security technologies and industry standards.
