Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with locksmithing, security hardware and/or related items.
• 1 to 3 years Inside Sales/ Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred).
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person (walk-in traffic/counter sales).
• Use the computer system to provide information on price and availability.
• Process orders and related customer assistance, including stock and special orders, promotions, pricing issues, returns and credits.
• Serve as manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders.
• Make outbound calls to grow the local business.
• Work as part of a team with branch staff and outside sales to exceed customer expectations and support growth.
