Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Officer to support safety and operational integrity across the property. The role requires proactive patrols, clear communication with leadership, and a commitment to a welcoming guest environment.

You will monitor for potential risks, respond to emergencies, and assist with security procedures and training. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security experience or related training preferred.
• CPR certification and driver’s license are required.
• Excellent communication and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Observational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor with guests and team members.
• Communicate assignments and incidents to leadership clearly.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Reduce opportunities for crime through proactive surveillance and patrols.
• Monitor for unusual or unsafe activity and take appropriate action.
• Use sound judgment to manage high-risk situations.
• Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with security procedures, programs, and training.
• Remain flexible to support sister properties as needed.
