Job summary

ParkX Management is seeking a Security Officer to help ensure the safety and smooth operation of our properties for residents, tenants, and guests. You will perform hourly patrols, control access, monitor for safety, and support the marketing team during events, with a strong emphasis on vigilance, reporting, and professional interaction.

The role requires a DC security officer certification, a valid driver's license, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be a certified security officer by the District of Columbia.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Observation and reporting of safety incidents.
• Issue banning notices to rule violators.
• Maintain file for Ban Notices and notify management when necessary.
• Enforce plaza policies and maintain plaza appearance.
• Communicate important information to guests and report concerns to management.
• Assist Marketing during events at Reston and Loudoun Station.
• Manage valet at Reston Station and ensure proper plaza parking.
