Job summary

ParkX Management is seeking a Security Officer to keep residents, tenants, and guests safe and with a positive experience. You will patrol the property, control access, enforce policies, and support events around Reston and Loudoun Station, including valet management at Reston Station.

Ideal candidates hold a DC Security Officer Certification, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year in customer service, with a flexible schedule and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a certified security officer by the District of Columbia.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Maintain safety and report any property damage or safety concerns.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the building.
• Issue ban notices to rule violators and report to management.
• Assist marketing around events at Reston and Loudoun Station.
• Manage the valet at Reston Station and ensure proper plaza parking.
• Close loading dock doors as needed and keep fire lanes accessible.
