Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional to work Fri and Sat nights, monitoring access, patrolling facilities, and ensuring safety at a technology-focused site. The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old for unarmed positions, possess a high school diploma, and be prepared for background checks and drug screening where allowed by law. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a tech/media/telecommunications site by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, and perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report access-control issues to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem solving; document observations and notify contacts or responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift handoffs in a fast-paced technology-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report access‑control issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify designated contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence in a fast‑paced technology‑focused environment.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
