As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document activity using technology. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including sales floors, entrances, exits, common areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access, helping to deter theft and other unwanted activity through a visible presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
