What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or concerns to management and/or Allied Universal as required.
• Collaborate with store staff and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related issues within the retail environment.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Please note that you must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
