Allied Universal in Allen, TX is accepting applications for a Full Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to safeguard clients in retail and mall environments. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Security in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members, document activities using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
