Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day: 05:45 PM – 11:30 PM
Wed: 05:45 PM – 11:30 PM
Fri: 12:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Sat: 04:15 PM – 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, assisting with any security‑related concerns at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or potential threats, and report findings according to company and client protocols.
• Work closely with client staff and the public to address inquiries and provide assistance as appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management regarding any security‑related issues.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client representatives, adapting to changing conditions within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification if required in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
