Allied Universal in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Security Officer Part Time to protect client sites across various industries. This role offers a flexible weekend schedule, with Saturday and Sunday shifts, and a focus on unarmed security at a technology location.

You will patrol, monitor, document observations, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. The ideal candidate is comfortable using a computer or tablet, has basic customer service experience, and meets minimum requirements

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and security systems; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports and shift communications.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
