Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a full-time, unarmed Security Guard to perform driving route inspections and protect client sites. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional service.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license, be 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and pass background and drug screenings. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the role.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Route Inspection in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing for unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and supporting authorized entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Complete required reports and documentation, including patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
