Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points and perimeters; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor location access by checking credentials and controlling visitor/contractor entry per access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills and other situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 11:59 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, controlling visitor and contractor entry, and following established access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
