Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Saint Louis, MO to provide armed patrols and security services at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will drive patrol routes, monitor areas, respond to incidents, and support access control with a commitment to customer service and integrity.

The position is full-time with a schedule that includes day and night shifts. A valid armed guard card, a driver’s license, and at least one year of security experience are required.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly, following site-specific escalation and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine inspections, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
