Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Reception in Boca Raton, FL. You will staff the front desk at a residential location, greet residents and visitors, monitor access, and respond to incidents.

The role is full-time, $17 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. A guard card, high school diploma, and at least one year of security experience are required, with background checks and drug screening as part of

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Staff the front desk and maintain a welcoming presence while monitoring access.
• Verify visitor and resident access and maintain entry records.
• Receive and route calls, packages, and inquiries according to policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel.

You will assist residents and guests, monitor entry activity, respond to concerns, and help maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and maintain a professional, welcoming presence while monitoring access to the residential location.
• Verify visitor, resident, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific procedures and maintain required entry records.
• Receive and route phone calls, packages, deliveries, and resident inquiries according to established policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
