Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Reception in Boca Raton, FL, to staff the front desk at a residential location and safeguard residents and guests. You will manage access, answer inquiries, and support security operations from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM on weekdays, with full-time hours and a $17 per hour pay rate.

The role emphasizes customer service, monitoring, and incident response. A valid guard card/license is required, and applicants must pass background checks and a drug screen

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and service providers by following site policies and emergency procedures.

• Verify visitor, resident, and contractor access and maintain entry records.
• Receive and route calls, packages, deliveries, and inquiries per policy.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel as directed.

As a Security Guard Reception in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communication. You will assist residents and guests, monitor entry activity, respond to concerns, and help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and maintain a professional, welcoming presence while monitoring access to the residential location.
• Verify visitor, resident, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific procedures and maintain required entry records.
• Receive and route phone calls, packages, deliveries, and resident inquiries according to established policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
