Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic team as a Security Guard Property Protection Patrol in Piscataway, NJ. This full-time role focuses on protecting property, serving clients, and maintaining a visible security presence throughout a premier retail location.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and regular patrols to deter threats.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
