Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Digital Reporting in Parsippany, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a hospitality location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with guests and staff, and document observations using a computer or tablet. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management practices in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
