Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ is seeking a Security Guard to protect patients, staff and hospital property. The role requires enforcing safety policies, performing rounds, and responding to emergencies.

Per Diem shifts include 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, and 4pm-12am with weekday and weekend coverage. Compensation is $19.50 per hour. Must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; prior hospital security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard, you are responsible for maintaining overall security of the facility, including the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property. The Security Guard is responsible for the enforcement of hospital safety and security policies, performing required rounds and dealing with emergencies as they arise.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Current state-issued driver's license in good standing
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital security or corporate security

Per Diem Requirement: Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).
