Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem shifts, with daytime and nighttime options. You will collaborate with a Nursing Assistant, manage admissions and assessments, document in EPIC, and ensure accurate orders while supporting patient goals.

Minimum RN license and BLS are required; one year of acute care/rehab experience is preferred. Per Diem schedules offer weekend coverage and mileage reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Minimum of 1 year as a full-time RN in an acute care, med/surg, acute medical rehabilitation or related hospital setting.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load.
• Receiving admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement. Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: 300 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663Schedule:Per Diem (PRN), 7AM - 7:30PM (Days) OR 7PM - 7:30AM (Nights) (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $54.00/Hour +Shift Differential
