Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Patrol Driver Visitor Assistance in Sterling, VA. This part-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and delivering high-level customer service at a technology data center.

You will operate in a flexible schedule with shifts to fit your life while contributing to a safe, secure environment and outstanding customer support. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
