Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology data center by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report irregularities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and escort authorized personnel as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and escalate as needed to leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery areas; verify credentials and follow site procedures for authorized entry and escort requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
