Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Overnights in Waterloo, IA. You will conduct routine patrols at a manufacturing and industrial location to deter incidents and maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

This full-time overnight driving role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid driver"s license required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required; licensing may vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures and emergency plans.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document observations and incidents.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Support a professional work environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
