Allied Universal in Fort Madison, IA is actively seeking a Security Guard - Patrol Driver for morning shifts at an industrial site. This full-time role combines security duties with safe driving to deter incidents and protect personnel and assets.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, complete daily reports, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• A pre-employment drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access by checking credentials and documenting visitor activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Mornings in Fort Madison, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
